Reflecting the violent nature of the film, Ash’s clothes are tattered, exposing her robust form. Ash stands on an exquisitely detailed base modeled after the floor of the cabin from the film, with a decomposing hand peeking out from the cellar door. The Necronomicon Ex-Mortis is detached, allowing you to display it wherever you like. Time to get revved horror fans – everyone’s favorite chainsaw-wielding hero is here! From Sam Raimi’s 1987 sequel, Evil Dead II, Sideshow Collectibles is proud to introduce the Ash Williams Sixth Scale Figure. 

Capturing all that is awesome about Bruce Campbell as the cult classic icon, Ash Williams returns to the remote cabin in the woods where he must hack and slash his way past hordes of relentlessly deranged Deadites who want him dead by dawn. Just your average convenience store employee with a penchant for sweet-talking the ladies, the resilient, blood-stained survivor has been through hell and back in his torn shirt and brown pants. Thanks to the forces of darkness summoned by the evil Necronomicon, the glorious gorefest continues as Henrietta’s disfigured remains emerge from the cellar, dying to swallow his soul. San Diego Comic-Con 2012 : NECA Exclusives

ONE Month and 2 weeks from now, the greatest convention series that ever held a nerdling to it's bosom will kick off and attempt to drive me into the ground. Of course I am talking about San Diego Comic Con, which I have been attending for over 10 years...and it hasn't killed me yet!!! COME AT ME BRO! One day they will put me in a reality show where they send me to every convention they can find and try to snuff me with dorkiness. That would be a good way to die. Toy Fair 2012 Preview : Evil Dead 2 Action Figures

Along with the 6 billion toys we get to see every year at Toy Fair, we know full well that before, during and after the show, the toy isles will be packed with new plastics. My wallet hurts already. NECA will be a part of this peg packing event with their Evil Dead 2 action figures hitting stores later this month! We got our hands on TWO of the firs figures; Deadite Ash and A Farewell to Arms Ash, and took them over to Dread Central for a test run.
