There is a second piece of news that will excite Winx fans: At this year’s New York Comic Con (Thu, Oct 12, 2023 – Sun, Oct 15, 2023), readers will be able to buy an early version of the book with a limited Edition NYCC 20th Gold Foil cover, to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Winx series! NYCC 2023: Winx Club Flying In

ONE DAY!!  ONE DAY??!! Is your brain exploding? Are you planning what 20 T Shirts you'll be presenting to the geek populace at the biggest dorkstravaganza of the year? Of course you are. Remeber..40% Star Wars, 20% Thundercats and everything else is cake. Oh and no McQuarrie Boba Fett after Labor Day. Tips.

ANYWAYS...Nickelodeon is hitting the show in force and dropped word on their activities and shiny plastics. Let's start with TOYS!! We don't have much word on the booth exclusives (#4113) but we do have a Turtle baddie and a pretty, pretty pixie.

Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder Action Figure:
Playmates Toys and Nickelodeon will be debuting a special Comic-Con edition Shredder action figure.  Standing at a height of 5.75 inches tall, the 2013 Comic Con Edition Shredder is ready for battle. Protected by his vacuum metalized, razor-sharp armor and helmet, Shredder stands on his customized sewer lid base looking for revenge. Packed in his one of a kind, four color closed box, this figure is highly collectible with only limited quantities available.

SDCC 2013: Toys R Us Exclusives

Building on its tradition of offering an unbeatable assortment of toys for kids and collectors of all ages, Toys“R”Us® has revealed its lineup of nine exclusive items available in honor of its fifth appearance at the highly anticipated Comic-Con International in San Diego, which will take place from Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. Offered in partnership with Entertainment Earth® at Booth #2343, conventioneers will find Comic-Con merchandise based on fan favorite series, like Adventure Time™, WINX Club®, TRANSFORMERS, Batman and The Walking Dead.

Toys“R”Us will also provide Comic-Con goers the opportunity to be among the first to purchase exclusive merchandise not yet available in stores, such as the BATMAN Adam West Batmobile, MY LITTLE PONY NIGHTMARE MOON and RAINBOW DASH SHADOW BOLT, The Walking Dead Comic The Governors Daughter Penny, and TRANSFORMERS Masterpiece Acid Storm and Soundwave, among others. These first look items will become available in Toys“R”Us stores nationwide later this year.

VIZ Kids Debuts Winx Club Graphic Novel Series

VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), the largest distributor and licensor of manga and anime in North America, presents Winx Club, a brand new graphic novel series inspired by the hit international animated TV series currently airing on Nickelodeon. WINX CLUB Volumes 1 and 2 will be published under the VIZ Kids imprint, and are available now in stores; Volume 3 will be available on September 4th. Each volume is rated ‘A’ for All Ages and will carry an MSRP of $6.99 U.S. / $7.99 CAN.

The WINX CLUB graphic novels follow the magical adventures of five best friends— Bloom, Stella, Musa, Tecna and Flora — at Alfea, a school for fairies in the amazing dimension of Magix. With powers of sunlight, science, music, nature, and flame, the girls learn together even as they regularly battle their rivals, a trio of witches known as The Trix.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 : Winx Club Pixie Swarms Comic-Con

The Winx Club is taking over Comic-Con 2012! Fans of all ages can take photos with Winx Club costume characters at the Nickelodeon Booth (#4113) on Sunday, July 15 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm! Exclusive Gold Edition Bloom dolls will be given away to lucky fans at the Nickelodeon booth at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm every day! Additionally, Limited Silver Edition Bloom dolls will be on sale at the Nickelodeon Booth daily, while supplies last (only 500 available).

The hot new Nickelodeon show, “Winx Club,” is an animated modern fantasy adventure series that follows six best friends – Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha – as they attend Alfea College, the finest fairy school in all the realms. San Diego Comic-Con 2012 : Toys R Us Exclusives & Previews

Like Taco Bell in Demolition Man, Toys R Us are the last survivors of the brick and mortar toy store wars and while their prices have started to get a little crazy when compared to prices for the same items in other stores, they'll always have a place in my heart...if not in my wallet. It makes perfect sense that the retailing giant would want some sort of presence at San Diego Comic-Con and with the help of Entertainment Earth, they always will!
