It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of X JAPAN’s esteemed bass player HEATH after his battle with colorectal cancer, on October 29th, 2023, at the age of 55.

His cancer was found during an examination in June of this year. Despite his efforts to battle the disease, his condition declined suddenly in October, and he took his last breath in the hospital.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who cherished HEATH throughout his lifetime.

The Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Retailer Selection Committee has selected forty-eight comic book titles for the industry's most anticipated annual event to take place on Saturday, May 4, at participating comic shops worldwide.

A committee of comic shop retailers chose forty-eight titles to be available on Free Comic Book Day: twelve Gold Sponsor comics and thirty-six Silver Sponsor comics that give fans an opportunity to discover new titles and genres. Terry Moore Announced as Commemorative Artist for FCBD 2024

Fan-favorite creator Terry Moore has created a one-of-a-kind design featuring his beloved characters Francine and Katchoo, emphasizing the community and friendship that come from exploring the pages of a comic book. The design will serve as the commemorative t-shirt and poster for FCBD 2024.

Under the banner of Abstract Studio, Terry Moore has been publishing his groundbreaking comics and graphic novels for almost thirty years. His award-winning work, Strangers in Paradise, carved out a unique space for him in the world of American comics. Debuting in 1993, when The Death of Superman and other super-hero titles were dominating comic book sales, Moore set out to explore a different narrative with Strangers in Paradise, one that would eventually be termed “slice-of-life dramedy.” The story centers on the lives of Francine and Katchoo, a pair of twenty-something best friends who eventually fall in love.
